Dear Grade 6 Band Parents,

            Hello! Your students have been working very hard and have made excellent progress so far this year!. It is already almost concert time and I wanted to send an update home to help prepare everyone. There are a few items below that either need to be marked on your calendars or ready for the show in January. I am already looking forward to it and I know your students are as well!

v    Replacement Rehearsal –Mon. Jan. 12^th  Day 2 - during 8^th Period

o      This rehearsal is mandatory for all students in the 6^th grade band so we may prepare for the winter concert! It is to replace the rehearsal we are missing due to a field trip on December 17^th. Don’t forget to have your band materials that day!

v    Winter Concert – Grades 5&6 – January 14^th starting at 7:00PM at Galvin

o       Student Call this evening will be 6:15 PM

v    CONCERT DRESS - Reflects the hard work and presentation the group is giving and should be as follows:

1.)  Black Pants or Skirt (knee length or longer)

2.)  White Shirt, Preferably Button Down if Possible

3.)  Black Shoes & Socks (No sneakers please)

4.)  Boys – a tie is optional but looks great!
